Beach Cooking Shakshuka by Beachhutcook for Wayfair

Beach Cooking with Tripods and Firepits

With the festivities behind us and ready to embrace the long run up to summer, I’m ready for something new, something fresh and exciting.  I start announcing “let’s have everyone round and cook something different” which is usually met with a slow okay from my family.  Tripod cooking.  Then that crazy plan doesn’t seem so silly now, does it?

I’m used to campfire cooking but I’ve never used a tripod and firepit  before so I decided to cook a vegetable and egg dish from the Middle East called Shakshuka.  A forgiving dish perfect for novice campfire cooks why not give it a go.  All fully transportable and guaranteed to bring something different to the party.

Disclaimer:  The tripod set was given to me by Wayfair as part of a feature for their Ideas section of their website.  I’ve had a huge amount of fun with it all ready so brace yourself for more beach cooking recipes.

This looks like a great cooking gadget…although not sure gadget is quite the right word…bet it’s so nice to sit around too.

Oh yes indeed it’s fab. I just wish the winds would die down a bit so we can get out there and use it again! x
